Artists and sisters SAIKO OTAKE and SHOKO OTAKE are coming together for a joint exhibition, SAIKO OTAKE & SHOKO OTAKE EXHIBITION: 4 EYES 2 BRAINS, to be held at GALLERY X BY PARCO (Shibuya PARCO B1F). The show runs from Friday, June 20 to Monday, June 30, 2025.

Elder sister SAIKO OTAKE and younger sister SHOKO OTAKE are two artists who have each followed their own creative path. For the first time in four years, they come together for a new exhibition featuring both collaborative and individual works. Tapping into their shared DNA, the show sparks a powerful creative surge. When one pair of eyes becomes two and two brains begin to process the world in sync, a heightened, hyper-dimensional super art universe unfolds.
“4つの目玉と2つの脳が揃う時、
肝は太くなり、心臓には毛が生え、舌はより回り、腕が鳴る。
2人で挑むこの機会に血湧き肉躍る。
この贅を極めたい。”
“When four eyes and two brains unite,
our nerves steady, our hearts grow bold, our words flow faster, and our hands itch to create.
The thrill of taking on this challenge together sets our blood racing,
and we’re determined to savor every bit of this creative extravagance.”
– SAIKO OTAKE & SHOKO OTAKE –
In addition to new collaborative works by the sisters, the exhibition will feature their latest individual pieces and a selection of original merchandise. To mark the occasion, a limited-edition collage book titled 4 EYES 2 BRAINS will also be published by PARCO Publishing, with only 500 copies available.
