‘The Conran Shop,’ renowned for its carefully curated furniture, lighting, and home accessories, has designed its first hotel, ‘HACIENDA VISON.’ The new hotel has opened within the ‘VISON’ commercial complex in Taki Town, Mie Prefecture.
VISON is a large commercial complex spanning across approximately 119 hectares (enough to fit 24 Tokyo Domes). It includes hotels, a direct-market produce store, dining establishments, a spa, an organic farm, and more. The newest addition, the ‘HACIENDA VISON’ hotel is situated in a lush, green farming area. Its refined design extensively incorporates natural materials like wood and stone in both its exterior and interior, creating a warm and urbane atmosphere.

Six Rooms Inspired by Masters and Masterpieces
The six guest rooms, each with a unique concept, offer enchanting views of the mountains to the north, the rustling trees of the adjacent forest, and a beautiful garden below to the south. At night, you can also enjoy a stunning star-filled sky.
■101 Abiquiu
This room is inspired by the home of Georgia O’Keeffe, the celebrated 20th-century American painter who made the small New Mexico village of Abiquiu her permanent residence. Designed with a mid-century modern theme, the room includes a spacious lounge chair and a private garden for a relaxing stay.

This room is inspired by Málaga, Spain, Picasso’s birthplace. It blends the warm, open feel of southern Europe with modern Spanish design. This room is inspired by the holiday cabin in Cap Martin, southern France, which Le Corbusier designed late in life for himself and his wife. A room inspired by the renowned British designer Terence Conran. Based on his design philosophy of “plain, simple and useful,” the room features products he cherished during his lifetime.
