FINALBY( )*, made headlines this past July with a special performance closing out 70 years of history at Osaka’s Misono Universe. The live performance project is now set to come to Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo. On Saturday, October 25, 2025, a new immersive live show will be staged at ZEROTOKYO, in the basement of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower. This performance will turn the entire venue into a single, unified work of art.

FINALBY( ) is a unit formed by ∈Y∋ (Ai), the frontman of the alternative rock band BOREDOMS, COSMIC LAB (run by C.O.L.O), HORIO KANTA, and NIIMI TAIKI. Their performances go beyond a typical concert, transforming the entire space into an immersive audio-visual experience. Their 2021 debut at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL was hailed as “the most unconventional stage in Fuji Rock history.” This year, they performed at Hong Kong Art Week in March and delivered a standout show at Osaka’s Misono Universe in July, closing out the venue’s 70-year history.
For the upcoming Kabukicho performance, they will make full use of the XR (Expanded Reality) visual and lighting system permanently installed at ZEROTOKYO. With sound, visuals, and lighting fully synchronized, the show promises a deeply immersive experience that will transport the audience into uncharted sensory realms.

This project also marks the first installment of Kabukicho EXPANDED, a new initiative launched jointly by TST Entertainment, which manages the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, and COSMIC LAB. The goal is to create a new art format by combining artists’ performances with a large-scale spatial system.
Special programs with DOMMUNE, the online streaming channel founded by Naohiro Ukawa as part of the recent Kabukicho art festival BENTEN 2025, as well as an after-party, are also planned.
